At Wilderness Radio our prayer warriors are called Knee Soldiers! Since I began ministry work on the web around 1996, I have always used this alternate name for people who know that the Weapon of Prayer is a powerful tool in our battle against those things that oppose God and try to upset our lives. This position is very important, most don't realize it. Through our contact page we receive private prayer requests, which are then sent to our Knee Soldiers. Only our Administrators, Knee Soldiers and God see these requests, so that the person sending the request can be confident in knowing their "dirty laundry" will not be aired to the world.

As a Knee Soldier you must understand this, and not spread gossip concerning these, as your position is fundamental in reaching out and delivering the needs of the Children to their Father. Hello everyone,

I am Carl Towns, founder, proprietor etc of Wilderness Radio. I live in Trenton, GA just below Chattanooga, TN. I play in a band called Tennessee Valley Express out of Fayetteville, Tn.  I was saved at ten years old but didn't truly follow Christ until I was around 18, so I have been a true Christian for over 20 years. The Lord placed Wilderness Radio on my heart around october of 2009 and it is finally going! I hope you enjoy what you hear. We like to play Independent artists along with the more known artists because there is a lot of good songs and singing out there for the Lord.
